
A 4 hour program designed to meet the training and continuing education requirements of first responders, divers and the general public. This program can be modified to meet the needs of emergency care providers who may be required to manage patients in the pre-hospital setting. The objectives are to establish and provide guidelines in the application and use of oxygen and related delivery systems in emergency patient care situations. Skills and competence are acquired through theoretical and practical components.
A 2 year certificate will be issued on successful completion.
Prerequisite: 16 years of age and a minimum OFA Level 1 certificate or equivalent.
