A three hour training session in which workers will learn to protect themselves from exposure to hazardous materials in the work place.
Who to Attend
Employees who are in contact with controlled products or are responsible for employees that work with controlled products. (e.g. poisons, flammable, reactive, corrosive,etc.).
Why
All workers in BC are required to have WHMIS Training. WorkSafeBC regulation Part 5 requires an organization to have a Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) program if they have workers, which are or may be exposed to controlled products.
